A Quick Summary

The Problem: 7thPillar’s legacy website was rigid and outdated, converting <5% of traffic and forcing the engineering team to waste billable hours on minor content updates.


The Process: I took full ownership of the redesign and development using Framer, moving from concept to live site in 3 months without using a single engineer.


The Result: The new platform increased lead conversion to 45% (a 9x boost) and empowered the marketing team to manage the site independently, saving 40+ hours of dev time.

The Problem: A Brand & Operational Bottleneck

Despite 7thPillar’s reputation as a modern digital agency, the legacy website was creating a "Trust Gap" with potential clients. It was a static, rigid platform that failed to reflect the agency's actual capabilities.

Brand Dissonance

The interface was visually outdated, causing a disconnect between our "modern agency" pitch and the user's actual experience.

The leak in Conversion

Traffic was arriving, but the lack of trust and unclear service presentation along with outdated case studies resulted in a lead conversion rate of <5%.

Engineering Drain

Simple content updates required developer intervention. This diverted the engineering team from billable client work to internal maintenance.

The Strategy & Execution

To solve the bottleneck, I bypassed the traditional "Design → Handoff → Code" workflow. Instead, I adopted a No-Code First strategy using Framer to accelerate delivery and empower the team.

Operational Pivot

By building directly in Framer, I removed the dependency on the engineering team. This allowed developers to focus 100% on client work while I owned the agency's web presence end-to-end.

Visual Overhaul

I discarded the rigid template in favor of a custom design system that utilized high-end typography, fluid animations to visually validate our "modern agency" positioning.

CMS Architecture

I structured the CMS specifically for non-technical users. This enabled the internal team to publish new case studies and blog posts in minutes without touching a line of code.

The Building Process

I bypassed the traditional waterfall process in favor of a rapid, iterative 'No-Code' workflow. By moving directly from Figma to Framer, I validated design decisions instantly and delivered a fully functional site without engineering dependencies.

I restructured the cluttered architecture to prioritize social proof, simplifying navigation so users reach the "Let's Connect" CTA within just two clicks.

2. Visual Exploration

I established a bold visual identity and modular design system in Figma, ensuring consistency and scalability before moving to the development phase.

3. The "No-Code" Build

Bypassing handoff, I built the site directly in Framer and architected a custom CMS, empowering the marketing team to publish updates without writing code.

4. Polish & Interaction

I elevated the experience with subtle scroll effects and micro-interactions, creating a premium feel without compromising load speed or website performance.
